About the Conference

Corrosion is a pervasive challenge faced by capital-intensive industries such as Oil & Gas, Pipeline, Refining, Petrochemicals, Power, Process, Chemicals, Fertilizers, and Infrastructure, among others. The economic impact of corrosion in these sectors is significant, making effective corrosion management a critical priority. Preventing or controlling corrosion can extend asset life, reduce unplanned downtime, and enhance safety and reliability.

This conference, organized by AOCP and Matcorr, will focus on state-of-the-art corrosion control practices and techniques. Topics will include Cathodic Protection, Protective Coatings, Corrosion-Resistant Materials, Inhibitors, Corrosion Monitoring Systems, Corrosion Testing, Inspection, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques, and the assessment of corrosion damage. The event will provide a platform for corrosion, materials, asset integrity, maintenance, and inspection professionals from across the globe—spanning industry, research institutions, and academia—to exchange knowledge, discuss the latest products and technologies, and collaborate on effective corrosion management strategies. It also offers a unique networking opportunity, fostering connections between experts from both government and private sectors.

This conference is designed for professionals to gain the latest knowledge and tools for tackling corrosion control challenges and ensuring asset integrity. It will cover prevention methods, monitoring techniques, regulatory frameworks, and case studies, addressing the significant risks corrosion poses to infrastructure, safety, and the environment. Attendees will gain valuable insights to prevent, detect, and mitigate corrosion, enhancing asset reliability and staying updated on advancements in corrosion control and integrity management.
